Jason Clinton Vaughn (USA)
I was born in Virginia in the United States and I went to college in America, England, and Russia. I love snowboarding, traveling, football, and watching movies. I am a big fan of Arsenal in the English Premier League. I became an English teacher because I enjoy helping students to learn and truly understand this language. I came to Russia because Russia has such an interesting culture and history and I look forward to learning as many more new things as possible.
Mary Timakova (Netherlands)
My name is Mary. I am from The Netherlands, but my first language is English, however, I also speak Dutch and a little bit of Spanish. I have an MSc in International Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam (The Netherlands). While studying I discoved my passion for teaching and spent the next 3 years teaching at the University. After I completed my study, I lived in Spain for about a year and taught English to young children (3-6 years old). My teaching experiences made me realize that I want to my a hobby into a career, so I did a CELTA and worked for Telelangue (part of Berlitz, France) for a few months before coming to Russia. I choose Russia because I like to travel and discover new places. Although some of my family is from here, I never had a chance to discover the country much, so I decided to do it now with BEC. I feel that Russia is very close to me in many aspects and I look forward to discovering more about it.
